Why a published checklist matters
A review is only as good as the process behind it. That is why our methodology page states the criteria in advance, and why this article unpacks them in practice.
The checks, in order
- Declared licence — we record the licence an operator publishes about itself and label it as exactly that: a claim by the operator. We do not present it as our own independent legal verification.
- Terms and privacy pages — we look for clear, reachable terms, a privacy policy, and stated procedures for account closure and complaints.
- Payment transparency — the advertised minimum deposit, withdrawal windows and any fees the operator states. We relay these with the phrase "as the operator advertises" because they can change without notice.
- Verification process — what documents the operator says it requires before payouts, and whether the process is described publicly.
- Player controls — deposit limits, session reminders, self-exclusion and reality checks in the account interface.
- Support reachability — the channels the operator publishes (chat, email) and whether response expectations are stated.
What we do not claim
- We do not test game fairness ourselves; fairness relies on the operator's declared certifications and the game providers' own audits.
- We do not guarantee payout speeds; a published window is an operator claim, not a promise we can enforce.
- We do not rank by commercial pressure; sponsored placements are labelled as such.
When information changes
